Simultaneous operation of chimney-dependent fireplaces and extractor hoods poses a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, as combustion fumes are drawn back into the living space through the chimney. Marley supply air monitors ensure that enough air flows in through an open window to compensate for this dangerous negative pressure.
