The downpipe system directs rainwater from the gutter to the storm drain or to a soakaway. When assembling the downpipe system, the individual parts are plugged into each other. The soft transitions give the downpipe system a particularly sophisticated look.

The downpipe system
Montageanleitung
Step 1
Attach a bend to the connection piece and measure the distance to the mating bend. Take into account the insertion depth of 4 cm and the distance to the house wall. For narrow roof overhangs, 2 bends are connected directly with the bend connector.
Step 2
Marley downpipes can be cut easily and quickly with a fine-toothed saw. Tip: To get a straight cut, you should use a miter box.
Step 3
Cleanly deburr the cut ends of the downpipe, especially when installing a Marley rain collector, this can significantly increase the collection rate.
Step 4
The individual parts of the downpipe system are simply plugged together. Due to the insertion depth of the fittings, no seals are required.
Step 5
The pipes are fastened with pipe clamps, which are fixed to the house wall with dowels. A distinction is made between "fixed clamps" and "loose clamps".
Step 6
A "fixed clamp" is used to secure the downpipe at the upper end. Only the eyebolt is mounted between the lugs of the pipe clamp. This allows the downpipe to be firmly fixed at this point. Spacing of the clamps: 2.00 to 2.50 m.
Step 7
A "loose clamp" is used to guide the downpipe in the middle or at the lower end. The eyebolt and washer are mounted between the lugs of the pipe clamp. This allows the pipe to move in the clamp and compensate for length changes due to temperature fluctuations.
Step 8
Downpipes are connected with a separate sleeve. The downpipe end is led to the rainwater sewer with a Marley KG pipe or it ends in a rainwater soakaway.
